Australia’s new Director Identification Number (DIN) regime rolls out from 1 November 2021. A DIN or DirectorID is a unique identifier for company directors, designed to prevent the use of false or fraudulent director identities. Failure to apply for your DIN within the necessary time frame could attract heavy civil or criminal penalties.
